Things To Do
The Town
Lymington is a lively market town with excellent shops and individual boutiques. For those with a sweet tooth I would recommend the shop Truffles on the high street. Market day is every Saturday and for those who like olives there is an excellent olive stall. There are two supermarkets in Lymington. Tescos and Waitrose. The nearest petrol station is a two minute drive away.
There are lovely cafes and restaurants. I would recommend outside of the town, the Gordleton Mill (01590 682219, or see their website: www.themillatgordleton.co.uk.) They have an excellent bar and restaurant menu.
In the high street I recommend Egans Restaurant (01590 676165), also recommended by Egon Ronay. However you must book beforehand. They have an excellent lunch time menu.
For those who fancy something more spicy the restaurant La Quilla (01590 671681) is worth a visit as is Rivaaz (01590 679999).
Attractions
Hampshire is an excellent county with numerous attactions to visit. Here are some of our recommendations:
